Featured in TechCrunch, Forbes, Wired, and Axios, Dutch is setting the standard for quality, accessibility, and compassion in pet care.THE ROLE:Dutch is looking for an SEO Manager specializing in GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) who is focused on improving visibility, attribution, and traffic from LLMs including Google’s AI Overviews, Perplexity, ChatGPT, and more. This role will own our GEO strategy: optimizing content, structure, formats, and data signals to improve Dutch’s SOV within LLMs. You will work closely with content, engineering, product, and marketing teams to ensure our content is technically structured, context-rich, authoritative, and optimized for LLMs.WHAT YOU'LL DO:Build and own Dutch’s company-wide GEO roadmap to maximize SOV all LLMsIdentify priority queries/topics where Dutch should appear as a cited or recommended sourceMap generative search intent vs. traditional search intent to identify new content opportunitiesDevelop GEO playbooks to ensure content is optimized for LLM retrieval and summarizationPartner with the content team to produce authoritative, fact-rich, structured content aligned with LLM preferencesImplement content formats that improve LLM selection, including FAQ expansions, listicles, medically reviewed relevant content, etc.Ensure LLMs can easily extract Dutch as a trusted source and all content is readableHelp outline and implement technical optimization for LLM discoverability on the siteMonitor Dutch’s SOV using emerging GEO tools and manual methods and provide recommendations on optimizationsWork with product and engineering to support GEO focused automation, page templates and best practicesWHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:5+ years of SEO, content strategy, and search optimization experienceStrong understanding of how LLMs source, rank, and cite contentStrong technical SEO background (indexation, rendering, structured data, schema, internal linking, improving site speed, etc.)Skilled in keyword research to help guide content decisionsExperience with tools including, GSC, Ahrefs/SEMrush, and LLM listening toolsStrong analytical skills with the ability to interpret A/B tests, entity graphs, and LLM evaluation signals and turn them into actionable recommendationsComfortable working cross functionallyExperience in health or pet care is a bonus!WHY WORK FOR DUTCH?Competitive compensation and equity packageHealth, dental, and vision insuranceFlexible PTOThe chance to make a meaningful impact on pets (and their people)DUTCH'S GUIDING PRINCIPLESPets First – business and medical decisions are always guided by the pet’s best interest.
