Project Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control (QC) Inspector based in Medellín to conduct on-site inspections of our swimwear production. The ideal candidate will ensure our garments meet high construction standards before they are shipped to customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Physical Inspection: Check swimwear for stitching defects, fabric flaws, symmetrical alignment, and hardware quality (toggles, rings, zippers).
- Measurement Verification: Compare finished garments against provided size charts to ensure fit consistency.
- Packaging Check: Ensure labels, hygienic liners, and hangtags are correctly placed and that the packaging meets brand standards.
- Reporting: Document findings and provide clear feedback on any "pass/fail" items.
Requirements:
- Location: Must be based in Medellín, Colombia (and able to travel to local factories).
- Experience: Previous experience in apparel QC, garment construction, or sewing is highly preferred.
- Eye for Detail: Ability to spot minor inconsistencies in stretch fabrics and delicate seams.
- Language: Must be able to communicate in basic English (written and verbal) for reporting purposes.
- Reliability: Professional, punctual, and able to work independently.
