Vocal Media is seeking Social Media Fellows to join us on a contract basis and craft vertical video-first strategies across TikTok, Instagram Reels, and emerging platforms. The ideal candidate brings deep platform expertise, strong trend intuition, and the agility to produce smart, attention-grabbing content on topics like news, finance, and culture — all in a fast-paced digital environment.ResponsibilitiesTime Commitment & OutputDedicate 10-12 hours weekly with flexible scheduling;Participate in two 30-min weekly check-ins about the project;Produce and manage 10-15 posts per account for 2+ accounts weekly across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook platforms.Content DevelopmentSource, identify, and clip relevant video content from news outlets, cultural events, and social media platforms;Craft platform-optimized captions and post copy that authentically represents each account's distinct voice;Strategically leverage our comprehensive content database including stories, videos, photos, CapCut templates, and trending sounds.Strategy & AnalysisMonitor emerging platform trends and algorithm updates to continuously refine content approach;Track and analyze key performance metrics and audience engagement patterns.CollaborationWork effectively with fellow Social Media Fellows and content leadership;Contribute to cross-platform content initiatives and strategy discussions.Salary Range$1,000 - $1,000 a monthVocal Media is committed to developing leaders, policies, and a team culture that embraces diversity and enhances equity.
