Our tutors support students across the United States through flexible, remote sessions that meet learners where they are.Role OverviewWe are seeking experienced and enthusiastic Geometry Tutors who can confidently support students in Geometry from middle school through college level. Tutors who can also teach a range of math subjects from 6th grade through college level can connect with more students and build a fuller schedule. This is a fully remote contract role with flexible scheduling.What We OfferFlexible remote work environmentAbility to set your own hoursHigh quality student referralsSupportive community of tutors for collaboration and growthProfessional development opportunitiesCompensation for student cancellations within 24 hoursTutors retain 100 percent of their hourly rateImportant clarification about experienceTA experience, peer tutoring, grader roles, SI positions, or lab assistant-only experience do not meet the requirements for this role. Applicants must have direct, professional teaching or tutoring experience with students.RequirementsTo ensure the best experience for students, applicants must meet all requirements listed below.Bachelor’s degreeMinimum 3 years of professional teaching or tutoring experienceAt least 1 year of relevant U.S. teaching or tutoring experienceMust have taught or tutored within the past 2 yearsAt least 1 year of online tutoring experienceStrong understanding of the U.S. curriculum and grading standardsStrong subject matter expertise in GeometryAbility to tutor Math subjects between 6th grade and college levelExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsTutors with availability during peak hours (Monday through Thursday, 3 to 10 PM ET) can connect with more students. Broader weekday and weekend availability is a plusFast and reliable internet connectionComputer or laptop with microphone and camera.
