Join a team modernizing Uplisting's core product. You'll ship end-to-end features that measurably improve the day to day for hosts and property managers, help migrate our front end from Ember to React, and strengthen the connection between Uplisting's operations platform.Here's what you'll get to do:Ship production-ready code across the full stack, from API and data layer to UI.Collaborate on the upcoming migration from Ember to React.Diagnose and fix scaling, performance, and reliability issues on our platforms.Own features end-to-end. From pitch to production.Set the bar on code quality through reviews, testing standards, and clear documentation.Mentor engineers on React best practices and help shape our technical roadmap.Use AI tools to speed up your own work and share what works with the team.Work on Partner integrations with large companies such as AirBnB, Booking.com, VRBOHere's what you will need to be successful: 4+ years of professional full stack experience shipping and operating production systems.Strong React and TypeScript skills, plus solid back-end fundamentals (APIs, data modeling, relational databases).Hands-on experience with testing, CI/CD, and basic observability (logs, metrics, alerts).A track record of working on/leading non-trivial migrations or modernization work on a live product.Clear written and verbal communication skills - you can explain trade-offs to engineers and non-engineers alike.Practical, daily use of AI tools in your workflow, with the judgment to verify what they produce.Here's what would be nice to have: Experience with Ember.js or migrating front-end frameworks, or a polyglot with Front End frameworks.Background in short-term rental, property management, travel, or hospitality tech.Experience operating multi-tenant SaaS at scale, including performance tuning.Familiarity with AWS, Heroku, containers, and infrastructure-as-code.Prior experience formally mentoring other engineers.Familiarity with the Shape Up methodologyHere's our tech stack: Ruby (Hanami)Ember JSPostgresQLAWSHerokuTypescriptReact NativeTerraformHere's what you can expect from us:Any hire made outside of Spain would be a full-time contractor.
