In this role, you will build and manage small to mid-sized commercial accounts, quote and rate renewals, support the growth of our in-house brokers and managers, and partner with customer success to manage client needs while developing deep expertise in commercial P&C Insurance.We are in a rapid growth phase, deploying new software daily, and are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment. You will work closely with tech teams as the insurance subject matter expert, helping shape processes, systems, and products that modernize how commercial insurance is delivered. This role requires autonomy, adaptability, and a passion for building efficient, customer-focused insurance solutions.What You’ll DoManage and retain a portfolio of commercial P&C accounts up to $10MM in annual premiumServe as primary point of contact for client servicing, renewals, and coverage questionsOwn the renewal process end to end, including proactive renewal conversation prior to quote deliveryClearly explain coverage, pricing, and policy changesManage client expectations and protect the client experience during underwriting delays, market constraints, or carrier issuesResolve client concerns and escalate internally when needed to ensure timely resolutionExecute core policy servicing, including endorsements, certificates of insurance, audits, billing coordination, and cancellationsMaintain accurate client records in AMS and CRMPartner with carriers, wholesalers, and internal teams to support renewal and servicing outcomesAdhere to service standards, SLAs, and escalation protocolsWho You AreRequired3+ years of commercial P&C experience in account management, brokerage, or customer successActive Property & Casualty license in good standingStrong knowledge of commercial P&C coverages, renewals, endorsements, and servicing requirementsProven ability to own the renewal process end to end, including proactive client consultations prior to quotingConfident client-facing presence with experience managing escalations and protecting the client experience during underwriting or carrier challengesExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex insurance concepts in plain languageDemonstrated success managing and retaining large or complex books of businessStrong organizational, prioritization, and decision making skills in high volume environmentsAdvanced proficiency with CRM and AMS platforms and core business toolsNice to HaveExperience improving workflows, processes, or operational efficiencyPrior experience in an insurtech, high-growth, or startup environmentWork EnvironmentRemote-first role, work from anywhere in the USNYC office available for in-person collaborationWorking hours aligned to your time zone:East Coast: 9:00am to 6:00pm ETWest Coast: 8:00am to 5:00pm PTWhy Coverdash?We’re reimagining insurance for small to mid-sized businesses with smarter, simpler solutionsModern tools designed specifically for insurance brokers to make their work easier and more efficientFast-paced, high-impact environment where ownership and results matter from day oneCompensation Our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry and are one part of our total compensation package that also includes benefits and other perks.
