Solutions are delivered within a secure, audit-ready framework supported by seven ISO certifications.Role OverviewThe Life Sciences Senior Product Manager is a cross-functional position that requires taking ownership and responsibility for a Life Sciences product/service and all issues and considerations related to it. As a Product Manager, you will be the bridge between product stakeholders and the development team—taking business requirements and defining product requirements. Success depends on deep knowledge of customers' journey, the Welocalize business, and the impact of data.Main DutiesStrategic Development: Play a central role in building capabilities that will empower multiple business-critical software projects.Roadmap Leadership: Build insights into Welocalize use cases, strategize where software solutions can be applied to drive business impact, and champion the product roadmap.Cross-functional collaboration: Partner with engineering teams and drive tight integration with other systems to build effective software solutions.Objective Setting: Define clear OKRs to ensure progress toward driving software adoption and effectiveness.Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal operational stakeholders, external clients, and the engineering team to ensure product success.Requirement Analysis & Solution Design: Understand business requirements, define objectives, and develop technical plans; identify opportunities where software can provide valuable insights and solutions.Performance Assessment: Develop metrics for business needs, partner in analysis of experiment results, interpret findings, and provide actionable recommendations.Industry Awareness: Stay updated on advancements in software development, technologies, and methodologies.Product Development Leadership: Lead product development and launches by defining product requirements, prioritizing features, and managing timelines.Performance Monitoring: Monitor product performance and user feedback to ensure product success.Stakeholder Engagement Plan: Develop and execute a formal plan to regularly engage stakeholders and ensure product needs are captured.Requirement Documentation: Ensure requirements are internally consistent, well-described, and granular enough for developers.Team Collaboration: Involve the development team in the product vision, share credit for success, think through nuances before presenting requirements, and create schedules through consensus.Culture Contribution: Contribute to a culture of excellence, open communication, courage, and respect.Requirements5+ years of Product Management experience, preferably in tech-centric roles within life sciences or a closely related field.Familiarity with AI and ML technologies and localization platforms, including TMS, CAT tools, LQA, MT, and integrations.Proven track record in leading and delivering tech projects with high precision and a user-centric focus.Experience with clinical trial management systems or patient data handling is preferred.Familiarity with global regulatory requirements pertaining to clinical trials and document management will be valued.Strong practical knowledge of MS Office and Atlassian (JIRA, Confluence).Background in cloud solutions, SaaS platforms, or enterprise software development.Skills & KnowledgeExecutive Interaction: Ability to work with senior executives, stakeholders, and users to define and manage scope, strategy, and requirements.Quantitative Skills: Strong ability to seek out, understand, and dive into data to support data-driven decision-making.Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills (including analysis, interpretation, and reasoning).Methodology Understanding: Understanding of Lean and Agile methodologies.Attention to Detail: Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines, and reporting.Problem-Solving: Creative and analytical approach in a problem-solving environment.Autonomy & Teamwork: Ability to work autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.Presentation Skills: Build clear, concise presentations and communicate effectively at all organizational levels.Product Execution: Specialization, execution, and delivery of software products.Project Management Skills: Planning, organizing, and administration of multi-functional responsibilities.Facilitation Skills: Facilitate cross-functional planning sessions (e.g., Scrum and Squad in Agile).Team Inspiration: Partner across teams, collaborate with, and inspire teams and individuals, including remote employees.Negotiation Skills: Negotiate and resolve complex and sensitive issues with diplomacy and persuasiveness.Closing noteThis role is an exciting opportunity to drive meaningful change, innovate, and contribute to the success of Welocalize and its clients.
