🚀 Senior AI Engineer — Inference & Agent Systems (3–7 yrs) We’re hiring for a high-growth startup building cutting-edge AI systems used by real, paying customers. 🔹 Role: Senior AI Engineer 🔹 Type: Full-time (Hybrid) 📍 Location: New York, NY / San Francisco, CA (Strong preference for NY/SF | Open to remote in Tier-1 cities like Seattle) 💰 Salary: $175K – $250K + Equity 🛂 Visa: Sponsorship available (case-by-case) 👥 Hiring: 3–5 engineers 💻 Tech Stack: Go, Python, Temporal, Kafka, PostgreSQL, Docker LLMs: Claude, GPT, Gemini 🚀 What You’ll Do: - Optimize inference (TTFT < 400ms) for multi-step agent pipelines - Build evaluation frameworks (datasets + automated scoring) - Design Plan–Execute–Synthesize agent systems - Integrate cutting-edge LLMs into production systems - Build orchestration layers with Temporal (retries, fault tolerance) - Develop observability across tokens, tool calls & pipelines ✅ What We’re Looking For: - 3–7 years experience building production AI systems - Strong Python (Go is a plus) - Experience integrating LLMs (GPT, Claude, Gemini) - Depth in at least one: • Inference optimization • Agent architecture • Evaluation systems 🏆 Bonus: - Experience in fintech / finance (analytics, trading systems, financial data) - Experience in Series A+ startups or scaled AI products ⚡ Ideal Candidate: - Has shipped AI products used daily by customers - Comfortable with LLM non-determinism in production - Strong IC who thrives in fast-paced startup environments
