We are looking for a Remote Medical Front Desk Coordinator.

In this role, you will own the front desk function end-to-end, managing scheduling, patient flow, insurance verification, and communication systems while ensuring a seamless, concierge-level patient experience. You will coordinate appointments across locations, support patient intake within Elation Health, assist patients with completing forms, and ensure all inbound and outbound communication (phone, SMS, EMR) is handled with precision and care. This is a highly hands-on, patient-facing administrative role that requires reliability, structure, and proactive communication. The ideal candidate brings 2+ years of experience in a medical front desk or patient coordination role, communicates with professionalism and empathy, is comfortable navigating EMRs (Elation Health preferred), and demonstrates strong organization, consistency, and high ethical standards.
Responsibilities:
- Manage inbound and outbound patient communication via phone, SMS, and EMR messaging systems (Elation Health, Spruce).
- Schedule appointments across multiple locations and coordinate patient flow.
- Verify patient insurance eligibility within the EMR system.
- Prepare patient charts and pre-visit documentation for providers.
- Assist patients with completing intake forms (Zentake), including guiding or entering information.
- Monitor and respond to patient messages to ensure timely follow-up.
- Ensure no patient inquiries or tasks fall through the cracks.
- Support front desk overflow and assist with administrative tasks as needed.
- Assist with basic prior authorizations where applicable.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Experience in a medical front desk, medical assistant, or patient coordination role.
- Familiarity with EMRs (Elation Health preferred) and communication tools (e.g., Spruce).
- Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple workflows simultaneously.
- High attention to detail and strong follow-through.
- Excellent phone presence and patient communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and problem-solve without constant oversight.

Location: Remote (contractor basis).
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM EST (aligned with clinic hours).
Pay Range: $900 – $1100 per month, depending on experience.
