Job Summary: Join us to help define the future of robotics data. As a Robotics Researcher, you’ll work at the forefront of R&D—shaping how embodied data is collected, structured, and used for robot learning and perception. What You’ll Do: - Define and standardize robotics data formats, schemas, and benchmarks. - Design innovative data collection methods (human demos, teleop, sensors). - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on model training data. - Evaluate datasets for diversity, scalability, and impact. - Prototype experiments and tools for efficient data gathering. - Stay updated on leading labs (Tesla, Figure, 1X) and integrate best practices. What You Bring: - 2–5+ years in robotics R&D, data engineering, or applied research. - Strong grasp of robotics data pipelines and multimodal schemas (RGB-D, IMU, pose, language). - Experience in robot perception, control, or data-driven learning. - Excellent communicator with cross-disciplinary collaboration skills. - Degree in Robotics, CS, EE, or related field. Bonus Points: - Experience at top robotics or AI companies. - Familiarity with embodied AI datasets or imitation learning pipelines. - Hands-on sensor prototyping experience.
