Responsibilities

Our client is looking to work with someone who: 🚀 Can conceptualize and generate infrastructure that allows big data to be accessed and analyzed. 🚀 Understanding of production-ready infrastructure, design, and scaling. 🚀 Experience designing data architectures from the ground up, from paper to production. 🚀 Has deep knowledge in Python, relational databases (Postgres preferred), and Node.js, with proven examples of production-ready code. 🚀 Has working cloud experience (AWS preferred + Linux/terminal/bash scripting) and Infrastructure-as-Code (preferred Terraform). 🚀 Knowledge of data orchestration (Airflow preferred). 🚀 Can research and test solutions to ensure they are fit for use. 🚀 Has a testing-based workflow and can implement tests in Python and Node.js. 🚀 Experience with Git. 🚀 Understanding of the concepts of CI/CD and Docker. 🚀 Knows data warehousing and has previously implemented custom ETL pipelines. 🚀 Knows queuing systems (RabbitMQ, preferred). 🚀 Has GIS knowledge. 🚀 Understand crawling, GraphQL, proxies, cookies, headers, and all the web requests fun. 🚀 Has implemented production-grade REST APIs. 🚀 Has leadership/mgmt experience (ideal).
