Responsibilities

🚀 About the position: We are specifically looking for the following skills: - Proficiency in database platforms such as Microsoft SQL Server, Azure SQL, and PostgreSQL.   - Hands-on experience with cloud-based databases, especially in Azure (AzureSQL Database, Synapse Analytics, and Azure SQL Managed Instances).   - Strong knowledge of T-SQL, stored procedures, indexing, and performance tuning.   - Familiarity with ETL pipelines and tools such as Azure Data Factory, SSIS, or similar.   - Understanding of data replication, high availability, disaster recovery, and backup strategies.   - Experience implementing and managing role-based access control (RBAC), security auditing, and encryption.   - Ability to monitor, diagnose, and optimize database performance using built-in and third-party tools. - Experience in business intelligence and reporting, especially working closely with Power BI developers can create optimized views and datasets for self-service reporting. - Exposure to using AI tools or assistants (e. g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Azure AI) to help generate or update SQL scripts, database documentation, or index optimization recommendations.   ⚡ As a Senior DBA, you must have 4+ years of applicable work experience and be available during our core business hours of 9 am-5 pm Mountain Standard Time.   ⚡ You will be working with clients in the US and will need to be comfortable conducting business in English.   ⚡ You will be part of a team that is fast-moving with high standards in all aspects of development. You should possess the desire and drive to use the latest technologies while not being afraid of failure. ⚡ You will become a go-to resource for the entire product line and be able to own your own piece of it and call it yours.
