Requirements and responsibilities

Position: Product & QA Manager. Location: Remote. Reports To: CEO. About Novabyte. At Novabyte, we build technology that drives our clients forward. We thrive on innovation, collaboration, and excellence, combining strategy, design, and engineering to bring powerful digital products to life. We are looking for a Product & QA Manager who can bridge the gap between strategy and execution, ensuring that every feature delivered provides clear value, functions correctly, and aligns with the company’s vision. This role combines product management (planning, clarity, alignment) and quality assurance (testing, consistency, polish). You will act as the link between design, development, and leadership, transforming ideas into well-tested and seamless releases. The Opportunity. As a Product & QA Manager, you will oversee the full lifecycle of our projects, from defining requirements to validating delivery. You will work closely with the CEO, developers, and designers to ensure that our products are both user-friendly and technically sound. Success Outcomes. 1. Own the Product Lifecycle. * Translate ideas and business goals into clear product requirements and tickets. * Prioritize effectively, focusing the team on key elements that drive product growth. * Maintain and communicate the roadmap clearly to all stakeholders. 2. Ensure Quality Across Every Release. * Develop QA checklists and test plans for each feature or sprint. * Conduct manual and exploratory testing. * Track and document bugs systematically, verifying fixes before release. 3. Bridge Design, Development, and Strategy. * Facilitate clear and precise handoffs between teams. * Ensure that user experience and functionality meet defined expectations. * Support developers and designers by clarifying intent and edge cases promptly. Who You Are. * Detail-oriented with the ability to see the big picture. * Structured, accountable, and focused on clarity. * Collaborative and cross-functional, helping teams stay aligned. * Proactive and resourceful in resolving uncertainties. Required Qualifications. * Experience as a Product Manager, QA Specialist, or in a similar cross-functional role. * Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum processes and backlog management. * Experience writing clear user stories and acceptance criteria. * Proficiency with project tracking tools such as Jira, Linear, ClickUp, or Notion. * Experience performing QA testing for web or mobile products. * Ability to document, prioritize, and communicate effectively with remote teams. Nice-to-Have Skills. * Familiarity with Figma and basic front-end development concepts (React, APIs, etc.). * Experience setting up QA automation tools or workflows. * Exposure to SaaS, marketplace, or platform-based products. * Ability to lead sprint planning and retrospectives. Soft Skills. * Excellent written and verbal communication. * Strong organizational and analytical thinking. * Composure under pressure and multitasking ability. * Collaborative, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset. We are growing quickly, offering opportunities to lead team direction, own product areas, and make a visible impact. If you’re excited to build digital experiences that make technology feel human, we’d love to meet you.
