Position Overview: The Bookkeeper will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial transactions, ensuring accurate records, and supporting the founders with timely, reliable financial data. This role is focused on transactional bookkeeping tasks and is ideal for a professional comfortable working directly with senior leadership in a fast-moving environment. Key Responsibilities: • Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks. • Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections. • Perform bank and credit card reconciliations. • Manage vendor payments through bill.com. • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. • Maintain organized documentation for audits and compliance. • Collaborate with founders to provide insights into financial performance. Qualifications: • Proven experience as a bookkeeper or similar role • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and bill.com • Advanced skills in Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas) • Strong attention to detail and accuracy • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines • English level: 60/100 — strong enough for clear verbal and written communication with executives. Nice-to-Haves: • Experience with cash flow forecasting and budget variance analysis. • Exposure to US-based accounting practices. • Strong verbal English skills for financial discussions with executives. • Experience in a founder-led or startup environment.
