A well-funded, mission-driven fintech company is seeking senior software engineers with applied Clojure experience to expand their remote-first engineering team. Key Details:
* Role: Software Engineer (Clojure)
* Tech Stack: Clojure (primary), ClojureScript or other front-end technologies (secondary, open to React, JS frameworks)
* Location: Fully remote; LATAM candidates preferred for time zone alignment

What They’ll Do:
* Build and maintain clean, well-tested APIs in Clojure.
* Contribute to scalable, production-grade systems in a lending platform.
* Participate actively in a fully remote, collaborative environment.
* Take ownership of their work and mentor others when possible.
* Provide direct, constructive feedback on PRs.
* Leverage AI tools to increase productivity.
What We’re Looking For:
* At least 5 years of total software engineering experience (does not need to be 5 years of Clojure experience).
* Practical, hands-on Clojure experience (not just coursework; building in production environments).
* Strong grasp of functional programming concepts (Elixir, Scala, Haskell, or Lisp experience can be relevant if combined with applied Clojure exposure).
* English proficiency (can understand with ease virtually everything heard or read).
* Comfort with start-up pace and culture; high sense of ownership and accountability.
* Open communicator who values feedback and collaborative problem-solving.
