This role combines engineering knowledge with instructional design expertise to create curriculum, labs, and digital learning content that align with academic and industry needs.You will play a critical role in shaping how students learn modern engineering workflows, from component selection to system integration, using MISUMI tools and products.Areas of Responsibility: Essential FunctionsDesign and develop curriculum, lab modules, and project-based learning experiences based on real engineering systemsTransform demo platforms and training kits into structured educational pathwaysCreate instructor guides, student materials, assessments, and digital learning assetsAlign curriculum with academic standards, accreditation requirements (e.g., ABET), and university program goalsCollaborate closely with Applied Content Engineers to ensure technical accuracy and relevanceWork with University Applications Engineers to pilot and refine content in live classroom settingsDevelop scalable delivery formats (in-person, hybrid, and self-paced online learning)Measure learning effectiveness and continuously improve course content based on feedback and outcomesAll employees are expected to maintain and contribute to the QMS.Required Qualifications and Desired TraitsBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Education, Instructional Design, or related field3–5 years of experience in instructional design, curriculum development, or technical training, preferably in a STEM or engineering-focused environmentStrong understanding of STEM education principles and project-based learning methodologiesDemonstrated ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, engaging, and accessible learning experiencesFamiliarity with learning management systems (LMS) and digital content development toolsExcellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical teamsPhysical DemandsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee routinely is required to sit; walk; talk and hear; use hands to keyboard, fingers, handle, and feel; stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, crawl, reach, and stretch.The compensation range for this position is $75,000 - $100,000 USD annually based on experience.
