If you require reasonable accommodation to complete our application or interview process, please let us know.ResponsibilitiesGenerate creative ideas to develop as content and pitch to journalists/bloggers covering tech, SaaS, and B2B industriesBuild media lists for a variety of B2B clients across a wide range of industry groupsWork with our content marketing team to create unique, proprietary data to establish our tech and SaaS clients as industry experts in their fieldPitch content generated by our team to news media, trade publications, and industry press for the primary purpose of generating coverage and visibility for our B2B organic growth clientsMonitor tech and industry news and proactively pitch new storiesHave a firm grasp on writing effective leadsNurture and develop relationships with writers, reporters, and bloggers covering the tech and B2B spaceConduct comprehensive research including validating sources and finding the most recent and relevant data availableRequired SkillsPassion for public relations, data-driven content, email outreach and media relationsProven experience securing news media coverage for tech and/or SaaS clientsExperience running surveys and crafting stories from data to pitch to national and trade news3-5 years of agency experience in PR, supporting B2B, tech, or SaaS brandsStrong interpersonal skills, with ability to form productive working relationshipsStrong project management skills, with ability to juggle multiple projects while still working effectivelyAbility to set priorities, meet deadlines and work independentlyStrong attention to detail, i.e. near perfect grammar and strong editing skillsSuggested SkillsBasic SEO knowledge (i.e. how media mentions influence search and GEO)Familiarity with the B2B/tech media landscape (trade publications, industry analysts, tech journalists)Experience using Microsoft and/or Google Workspace suitesExperience using a media relations tool such as CisionThe salary range for this position is $65,000.00-$73,500.00 DOE.
