About Us: - CampKidz is transforming how families plan, budget, and coordinate summer camps and school breaks. - Founded by two experienced business operations and merchandising professionals, we are building a multi-dimensional marketplace platform that unites parents and camp providers while streamlining scheduling, payments, and group carpooling. - We have pooled our personal capital to fund our initial operations and are looking for our technical partner to round out the founding team. The Role: - As our Founding CTO, you will own the technology strategy from day one. - You will transition CampKidz from initial validation prototypes into a robust, scalable marketplace platform. - You will not just manage code; you will help shape the strategic direction of our company. Core Responsibilities: Architecture & Strategy: - Design a scalable platform architecture supporting user accounts, calendaring, and split-payment transactions (Stripe Connect). MVP Execution: - Lead the build of our Phase 1 MVP, managing external development resources or writing core code to hit our local launch window. Team Leadership: - Source, vet, and manage high-quality software agencies or offshore development talent to control initial cash burn. Security & Compliance: - Ensure our database structures meet COPPA requirements and protect family data. Investor Readiness: - Partner with the co-founders during angel investment pitches to present our tech stack and technical roadmap.
