We are looking for an experienced Senior .NET Developer to join TXP and support a large-scale application modernisation programme.This role is focused on the development, enhancement and modernisation of enterprise applications within a complex legacy environment. You will work across existing and modern .NET technologies, helping maintain, integrate and evolve business-critical applications as part of a wider transformation programme.The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on experience across the .NET ecosystem, particularly .NET Framework, C#, WinForms and WebForms, together with solid experience integrating enterprise systems using XML, REST APIs and SOAP web services.Experience with VB.NET and exposure to CA Gen (formerly Cool) would be highly valuable.WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING:As part of an agile software development team, you will:Design, develop, enhance and maintain enterprise-grade .NET applications.Work with existing legacy and hybrid applications as part of a wider application modernisation programme.Develop and maintain solutions using C# and the .NET Framework.Work with existing WinForms and WebForms applications.Integrate applications and services using REST APIs, SOAP web services and XML.Analyse existing applications and understand dependencies, integrations and business logic.Support the modernisation and evolution of legacy applications into maintainable .NET solutions.Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across existing and modernised applications.Work effectively within codebases that may contain a combination of C#, VB.NET and legacy technologies.Collaborate with consultants, developers and other technical specialists involved in the wider modernisation programme.Contribute to technical decisions, development standards and maintainable engineering practices.WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:Strong commercial experience as a Senior .NET Developer working on enterprise-grade applications.Deep hands-on experience with C# and .NET Framework.Strong practical experience with WinForms and/or WebForms.Essential production experience integrating and consuming: REST APIs, SOAP web services,XMLExperience working with large, complex or business-critical applications.Strong understanding of existing codebases and the ability to work effectively with legacy systems.Experience maintaining, enhancing or modernising established enterprise applications.Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.Ability to work independently and take ownership of complex technical tasks.Comfortable working remotely as part of an international engineering team.Experience working in an Agile, cross-functional teamStrong verbal and written communication skills in EnglishNICE TO HAVE:Commercial experience with VB.NET, particularly maintaining applications containing both VB.NET and C#.Previous experience with application modernisation or legacy transformation programmes.Experience working within complex or regulated enterprise environments.Knowledge of CA Gen / Cool.Experience working with applications or components generated from, integrated with, or being migrated away from CA Gen.Broader exposure to legacy enterprise or mainframe environments.WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU?Be part of our collegial environment where responsibility and authority are shared equally amongst colleagues and help create our company culture.A culture in which we don’t criticise failure but ensure we learn from our mistakesAn Agile environment where your ideas are welcomeThe possibility to grow and experience different projectsOngoing Training & MentoringThe possibility of travelling
