The Technical Recruiter will have responsibilities in human resources, recruiting, finance, accounting, and marketing. The HR Recruiter will assist in recruiting, training, compliance, and ensure the proper resources are available. Responsibilities include ensuring the company engages in ethical practices and applies effective leadership dynamics. This position reports to the HR Director.Technical Recruiter Job Duties:Lead recruiting team on daily activities, reporting, sourcing, interview setup, and selection of applicants for technical positionsMeet with hiring managers to determine job dutiesWrite job descriptionsMatch applicants to job openingsSource for active and future job openingsList job postings on job boards, social media, corporate career web sites, and other possible channelsCall applicants and perform phone screensCommunicate the nature of each job postingFacilitate meeting between hiring manager and applicantParticipate in final selection of applicantCreate portfolio of possible candidates for hiring managerPerform reference checksPerform background checks and initiate drug tests on applicantsInform candidate of company's decisionCompose offer letters and negotiate salary and benefitsKeep track of all applications and EEO, VETS 4212, and AAP reportingEnsure proper compliance and effective outreach programsEngage with civic, social, and other groups to provide information concerning job possibilitiesParticipate in implementing new recruiting technology such as applicant tracking systems and screening toolsOther human resources responsibilities may include:Onboarding New Employees and ContractorsInventory Control Asset ManagementRecruiting New TalentCreating Job Descriptions for Required PositionsMarketing and Promotion Material CreationWebsite MaintenanceOperations GuideEmployee Handbook UpdatesLegal ComplianceForecast budgets for recruiting expensesAdvise Managers on Organizational Policy Matters and Recommend Needed ChangeAssisting HR Department in other capacitiesOther responsibilities as neededRequirementsYears of Experience: 3 yearsEducation Requirements: Bachelors Degree with a minimum of 3 years technical recruiting experienceRequired Skills: Skills/Qualifications: High level communication, analytical, writing, creative, sales, and leadership skillsRequirements: Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 3 years technical recruiting experienceSoft Skills:Organizational Skills: Can plan and prioritize work, both their own and that of project team. Follows tasks to their logical conclusion and makes sure that everything has been done to the right standard. Good attention to detail.Teamwork: Comfortable working both individually and as part of a team. Prepared to challenge ideas within a group in a constructive way.
