Job SummaryAccount Executives drive the new business sales process, start to finish. This is primarily a hunter sales role. You’ll also work with warm prospects generated from our Marketing and Community Outreach programs, as well as your personal business development initiative to build your pipeline. We are a fast moving business and expect AEs to close 8-10 deals per quarter. Since our target customers are often technical (developers, engineers, CTOs), nearly all sales engagements will involve technical questions and deep technical discovery. AEs are expected to develop expertise in the industry and product, while working closely with sales engineers. Ultimately the AE owns the responsibility for the business win, qualification, and forecasting of all opportunities..You will report directly to the CRO and can work remotely. And since we are growing rapidly, you will have a direct hand in shaping the sales process, messaging and recipe for success. This is a role for someone to make a difference, not just make a number.ResponsibilitiesSelling to Developers, Engineering, and Technical ExecutivesPrimarily covering mid-market accounts with 5 to low 6 figure dealsDelivering product walkthroughs, and understanding the business motivations of every opportunityUnderstand our target market, our unique value to technical and business audienceSchedule and manage the sales process based on inbound warm leads from marketing campaigns and outbound prospectingGenerate additional leads from your targeted outbound prospecting activityAssist prospects in choosing the appropriate product and configurationNegotiate and close orders based on prescribed guidelinesMeet monthly and quarterly qualified lead and revenue objectivesDocument and manage your business within our CRM system while providing accurate forecasts to the teamEngage with technical and non-technical employees of prospective customers at various levels and build a strong value proposition for FusionAuthQualificationsAt least four years of technical sales experienceSelling to developers preferredTechnical product experience, preferably targeting developersA love of learning and problem solvingProven success as a sales rep, with demonstrable quota attainmentTechnology sales experience, preferably B2B software or SaaSAbility to connect and communicate with technical customersOutstanding written & verbal communicationHigh level of energy, motivation, initiative, commitment, and professionalismCompetitive and focused on achieving goalsLocation: Based in London, Berlin or Amsterdam metro areaImportant DetailsApplication Submission: We value authentic, thoughtful responses.
