DescriptionThe Liz Wheeler Show is looking for a producer who is a skilled editor with editorial gestalt. The ideal candidate is chronically online and immersed in the conservative media and political world, particularly on X, and understands the mission and audience. This candidate is capable of writing clearly and succinctly. This person will assume significant responsibility for disseminating content on social media platforms, which requires a thorough understanding of each platform, its best practices, and TOS, as well as the technical ability to adapt long-form content to fit each platform.Job ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute The Liz Wheeler Show’s long-term social media strategy to drive brand awareness and audience expansionAnalyze audience insights to drive growthChampion audience engagement initiatives that foster loyalty, community, and advocacy among Liz Wheeler’s audienceMonitor market trends, emerging platforms, and competitive activity to ensure Liz Wheeler’s brand remains not only relevant, but cutting-edgeEstablish and track KPIs to assess marketing effectiveness and guide continuous improvement.Create reels, clips, and other microcontent to expand reachEdit short break-out videos pulled from long-form episodes of the most prescient pointsUtilize graphic design skills to create thumbnailsUpload episode video files to platforms and schedule for publicationWatch each live episode closely, noting timestamps for short-form “highlight” excerpts worth clipping into reels/clips following the episode.
