Responsibilities
Key Job Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Identify, analyze, and resolve performance issues within our applications and infrastructure.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance application reliability, scalability, and performance.
- Optimize existing Java code and MySQL database queries for improved performance.
- Manage and configure Tomcat servers to ensure efficient deployment and stability.
- Apply software architecture principles and design patterns to create scalable, maintainable, and reusable software.
- Leverage AWS services, including Serverless Computing (AWS Lambda), to enhance application scalability, security, and resilience.
- Contribute to the front-end development and migration using Angular to ensure a seamless user experience.
Your Profile/Skills:
- Proficiency in Java 8 with hands-on experience in writing clean, optimized code.
- Experience with Tomcat 9 for application deployment and server configuration.
- Strong SQL knowledge and experience with MySQL 8 for database management and query optimization.
- Familiarity with AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, CloudWatch, and experience with AWS Lambda.
- Experience with Angular for front-end development and migration as part of the tech stack.
- Knowledge of software architecture principles and design patterns (e.g., Singleton, Factory, MVC, Microservices) to design efficient and maintainable code.
- Performance tuning skills and an understanding of profiling tools and techniques.
