As a Localization Quality Manager at Translated, you will be responsible for defining and managing all quality-related activities for one or more clients, ensuring the highest level of quality in deliverables. This includes defining quality requirements, training and monitoring linguists, and reporting on quality internally and to clients. You will work closely with Community Managers to recruit the best resources and negotiate rates. Additionally, you will oversee teams of linguists, Language Experts, and Language Leads, and serve as the primary point of contact with clients, attending meetings and presenting quality data and improvement plans during business reviews. We are looking for someone with 3+ years of experience in Localization Quality Management, excellent knowledge of English, and preferably another language, as well as excellent computer and web skills, interpersonal and communication skills, fluid intelligence, and a high work ethic. Responsibilities: - Define quality requirements and frameworks for assigned clients - Develop client or service-specific training and testing programs - Manage linguistic assets for clients, including machine translation, translation memory, glossaries, and style guides - Oversee teams of linguists, Language Experts, and Language Leads for assigned clients - Serve as the primary point of contact with clients, attending meetings and presenting quality data and improvement plans during business reviews - Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless and efficient workflow between teams for assigned clients
