Responsibilities

🤘 We are seeking a back-end web developer to join our web development team. You will be responsible for building and maintaining the server-side operation and functionality of the website. Your main tasks will include developing and maintaining our database layer, APIs, and other web services. Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate knowledge and experience in modern programming languages such as Node.js and Python. 🤘 Responsibilities: - Be proficient in server-side development and data optimization, including database creation, management, and debugging. - Integrate data from various back-end services and databases. - Create and maintain software documentation. - Create user-friendly and intuitive interfaces. - Create and analyze reliable and secure back-end functionality. - Maintain, expand, and scale our website. - Remain knowledgeable of emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them to operations and activities. - Collaborate with front-end developers and web designers to match visual design intent. 🤘 Requirements: - English proficiency is a must. - Preferable experience working with React, Next.js, and Flutter. - Preferable experience working with Node JS, Python, Non-SQL Databases, and serverless. - Experience with AWS as a cloud provider. - Understanding of object-oriented programming. - Experience with the design and implementation of APIs. - Understanding of code versioning tools such as GitHub. - Understanding of code deployment tools such as Jenkins, Capistrano, and ElectricFlow. - Excellent time-management and communication skills. 🤘 This is a job opening from The MRG Group.
