We can offer you an award-winning working environment. A Lead Artist at Electric Square Reports to the Art Director and coordinates with studio leads on art objectives. Leads the art team making a significant and direct contribution to the creation of AAA art. Influences the defining look and feel and communicates art style principles to the team. Leads by example; demonstrates and communicates clear expectations for quality. Proactively assists in defining art pipelines and best practices against industry benchmarks. Responsibilities: - Leads the art team making a significant and direct contribution to the creation of AAA art. - Influences the defining look and feel and communicates art style principles to the team. - Leads by example; demonstrates and communicates clear expectations for quality. - Proactively assists in defining art pipelines and best practices against industry benchmarks. - Works closely with project/studio leadership and clients to maintain or establish the artistic vision, art objectives, and ensure the technical and aesthetic standards for the project are met and fit within project timeframes. - Can create visual targets for overall vision to help the direction of the client and establish best practices. - High level of technical understanding of games art creation for consistency of artwork and drive for optimal performance across our games. - High level of understanding of art pipelines across all art disciplines to help solve issues and accelerate workflows. - Manage and mentor a cross discipline art team, developing their careers and assist in achieving the best possible results. - Responsible for delivering excellent quality artwork at a project level, using cutting-edge processes and maintaining a happy and inspired art crew, on-time and adhering to specified budgets for guaranteed performance. - Seamless coordination with the project leadership team, build a strong relationship with the client to ensure a bulletproof and mutually respectful co-dev relationship. - Continue to improve and develop skills through personal learning and training through work to remain cutting edge in the fundamentals. - Reports to the Art Director/Associate Art Director.
