- Series A startup backed by top investors (Thrive Capital, Homebrew, Designer Fund, BoxGroup, and more) - Mission to help farmers become more profitable and sustainable - Fully remote founding team - Commitment to diversity and inclusion Ambrook is seeking a Software Engineer to join their world-class team and help drive technical decisions to make agriculture more sustainable and profitable. The ideal candidate will take ownership of product experiences and infrastructure, teach best practices in engineering, learn about agrifinance and climate tech, and improve existing full-stack architecture and API. The role offers the opportunity to collaborate with the Product team, influence feature prioritization, and champion a culture of engineering excellence. The candidate should have experience shipping web applications and be excited about building software for sustainable natural resource industries. Bonus points for experience in agriculture, building financial products, and familiarity with Typescript, React, React Native, and/or Next.js. Responsibilities: - Take ownership of product experiences and infrastructure - Teach best practices in engineering architecture, project management, and cross-functional collaboration - Learn about agrifinance and climate tech, including agricultural bookkeeping and natural resource management - Improve existing full-stack architecture and API - Collaborate with the Product team to influence feature prioritization - Plan and execute improvements to server infrastructure, databases, and CI/CD tooling - Perform end-to-end data analysis and champion strong user data hygiene and privacy practices - Collaborate to design and execute improvements to the engineering stack and champion a culture of engineering excellence - Get involved in hiring and growing the team by evaluating/interviewing candidates
