Requirements and responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Senior Epic Tapestry Consultant to support a critical Managed Care initiative focused on Utilization Management workflows. The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on experience with Epic Tapestry configuration, testing, and implementation support within a payer or managed care environment.🔹 Key ResponsibilitiesPerform Epic Tapestry configuration and build activities to support Utilization Management workflowsSupport end-to-end testing efforts, including: Unit Testing, Integration Testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT)Develop, execute, and validate test scripts and testing scenariosValidate configuration changes and ensure system readiness prior to deploymentCollaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into system solutionsTroubleshoot defects, resolve system issues, and provide production supportPartner with cross-functional teams including IT, Business, QA, and Testing teamsMaintain comprehensive documentation for workflows, system configurations, and testing activities🔹 Required QualificationsEpic Tapestry Certification (Required): Tapestry Essentials, Enrollment, Related Tapestry CertificationsStrong hands-on experience with: Epic Tapestry Configuration & Build, System Testing, QA Testing, Integration Testing, UAT SupportExtensive experience in a Managed Care environmentDirect Utilization Management (UM) experience, including: Prior Authorization, Referrals, Utilization Management ProcessesExperience supporting Epic implementations, upgrades, and enhancementsAbility to work effectively with both technical and business stakeholders🔹 Preferred QualificationsExperience with Tapestry Referral and UM-related implementationsKnowledge of Revenue Cycle integration pointsExperience with workflow optimization and process improvementExposure to payer systems and managed care operationsExperience working within large healthcare organizations or enterprise Epic environmentsThis is an excellent opportunity for an Epic-certified consultant to join a high-impact healthcare initiative while working fully remote.
