Blue Ridge’s team are experts in partnering with our customer community, the industries that we service, and the broader supply chain community providing solutions designed to impact profitability, inventory levels, purchasing, and planning across their businesses.As a Lifeline Consultant you will be responsible for providing insights to clients. To do so, you will first meet with our clients to uncover their business needs and challenges. You will have strong analytical skills to perform quantitative and observational data analyses. You will us analyses, to create and present your recommendations to our clients.ResponsibilitiesProactively perform data driven analysis and modeling of supply chain data (e.g. inventory, service levels, forecasting, etc.)Consult and educate customers to meet objectives such as: improving days of inventory supply/turns and decrease excess/obsolete inventory.Maintain and perform scheduled calls with Blue Ridge customers to review purchasing, forecasting, inventory and service levels for the period.Provide reporting assistance to customers including, but not limited to custom report building and SQL query development.Ensure accuracy of metrics and identify the underlying drivers behind performance.Develop a strategic relationship with customers to achieve their objectives and goals leveraging Blue Ridge solutions.Prepare reports to illustrate trends and identify root causes through detailed analysis of key data, including recommendations for corrective action and continuous improvement opportunities.Participate in the planning and configuration of Blue Ridge systems.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in mathematics, statistics, supply chain management or similar3+ years’ experience with Purchasing, Inventory Planning, Supply Chain/Financial Analysis, Data Modeling, Business Analysis or a closely related fieldStatistical analysis, supply chain planning/forecasting skills using recognized planning or analytics software applications.Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.Demonstrated business intuition skills.Strong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work with all levels of an organization, influence leaders to change/adopt change, building trust and credibility quickly.High level of initiative, flexibility, organization and team orientationStrong interpersonal skillsEnergetic, proactive and persistent focus on meeting deadlinesAPICS and/or Green Belt certification is desirable.Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; proficient with other Office applicationsExpertise with data analysis tools is required.Ability to travel – up to 25%What we offerCompetitive salaryFree Medical/Dental/Vision (for Individual)401(k) matchUnlimited PTORemoteCollaborative, fun, team-oriented environment
