Requirements and responsibilities

Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced AI Engineer to design, develop, and deploy AI-powered solutions within Workday Managed Services. This role focuses on building AI agents that integrate with Workday to enhance HR, Finance, and operational processes, enabling intelligent automation and improved service delivery. The ideal candidate combines AI engineering expertise with strong Workday integration knowledge and an understanding of enterprise operations.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop AI agents using frameworks such as LangGraph and MCP for Workday use casesBuild AI-driven experience layers using CopilotKit, Vercel AI SDK, or similar toolsEnable scalable AI deployments on AWS or AzureDevelop AI assets and integration frameworks supporting AI SDLCDesign and implement Workday integrations using Workday APIs and integration tools (Studio, EIB, REST/SOAP)Work with Workday data structures (HCM, Finance) for context-aware AI solutionsIntegrate AI agents with incident/ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow)Collaborate with Workday functional and technical teams to deliver solutionsSupport automation of service requests, diagnostics, and operational workflowsRequired Skills and ExperienceStrong experience in AI/LLM development and agentic frameworks (LangGraph, MCP)Experience building AI agent interfaces and experience layersHands-on experience with AWS or Azure for AI workloadsProficiency in Workday technologies: Workday APIs (REST/SOAP); Workday Studio and Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB); Workday HCM and/or Financials data modelsUnderstanding of Workday managed services and operationsFamiliarity with ServiceNow or similar ticketing systemsStrong cross-domain problem-solving skillsPreferred QualificationsExperience building AI solutions for Workday or HR/Finance platformsFamiliarity with AI-driven automation in enterprise workflowsExposure to enterprise AI governance and security practicesExperience working in Agile/DevOps environmentsWhat Success Looks LikeAI agents seamlessly integrated with Workday processesImproved service efficiency and reduced manual effort in operationsReusable AI capabilities across Workday managed services engagements
