Voltus is hiring a Sr. Salesforce Administrator to help drive the productivity and operational effectiveness of our Go-to-Market organization. Reporting to the Director of Sales Operations, you'll take ownership of Salesforce administration end-to-end — from hands-on configuration to system governance — while partnering closely with our current administrator and with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Customer Success stakeholders.This is a high-visibility role for someone who wants to bring deep Salesforce expertise to a mission-driven clean energy company. We're looking for someone who is not just a power user, but a strategic thinker who can translate business needs into scalable Salesforce solutions.Voltus is a remote and virtual company, distributed across US, Canada, and abroad. Candidates must be authorized to work in the US or Canada.Primary ResponsibilitiesOwn the day-to-day administration of Salesforce, including user management, roles/profiles, permission sets, sharing rules, custom objects, page layouts, custom/formula fields, and validation rulesDesign, build, and maintain Salesforce Flows and other automation to streamline processes across Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Customer SuccessPartner and knowledge-share with the existing Salesforce administrator, providing guidance & code/config reviewManage the Salesforce release lifecycle, including sandbox environments, testing, and safe deployment of changes to productionOwn the security model in partnership with our security team and periodically audit permissions, sharing rules, and data access to ensure alignment with least-privilege principlesOwn and administer the broader Go-to-Market tech stack, including all of the integrations to Salesforce — handling mass updates, ad-hoc reporting, and troubleshootingHelping define the AI strategy within our given tech stack – which tools should we invest in AI capabilities in and where can we use AI to automate processesPartner with internal stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, then propose and implement Salesforce-native solutionsBuild and maintain standardized and ad-hoc reports and dashboards; train users on self-service reportingMonitor data quality and lead deduplication, cleanup, and enrichment initiativesEvaluate and manage integrations between Salesforce and other tools in the GTM stack (e.g., marketing automation, CPQ, data enrichment tools)Stay current on new Salesforce releases and features, and proactively recommend adoption where it drives valueMaintain clear, well-organized documentation of configurations, processes, and troubleshooting stepsQualificationsFamiliarity with Salesforce Lightning environment, ideally a power user5+ years experience as Salesforce administratorSalesforce Administrator Certification required; Advanced Administrator or Platform App Builder certification strongly preferredHands-on expertise building Salesforce Flows and other declarative automationSolid understanding of Salesforce data model, security architecture, and sharing rulesExperience managing sandboxes, change sets, or DevOps tools for release managementTrack record of translating business requirements into scalable, maintainable Salesforce solutionsExperience with integrations/middleware connecting Salesforce to other platformsStrong reporting and dashboard-building skills, with the ability to train othersExcellent communication skills, with experience presenting to non-technical stakeholdersSelf-motivated and comfortable prioritizing multiple concurrent requests in a fast-moving environmentGenuine curiosity about new technologies and a passion for improving system efficiencyBackground or interest in clean energy or climate tech preferredCompensation: Base pay is $90,000-$105,000 annually, commensurate with experience, with 10% bonus paid annually, and equity.
