You’ll own design end-to-end across a modern SaaS product lifecycle, from early discovery through execution, helping our teams turn complex interoperability workflows into intuitive, elegant product experiences.You’ll collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineers, Researchers, and fellow Designers to define problems, explore solutions, and deliver high-impact work. You’ll also use emerging AI-powered tools for discovery, research synthesis, and ideation, alongside traditional prototyping and testing tools to push our craft forward. This is a hands-on design role with meaningful scope, autonomy, and influence. You’ll join a small, high-trust team where quality design has a clear and visible impact.Job ResponsibilitiesLead design across the full lifecycle — discovery, definition, prototyping, and deliverySynthesize user research data to uncover opportunities and shape product directionCreate high-fidelity user flows and prototypes to test and validate ideas quicklyCollaborate daily with Engineers and Product Managers to ensure designs are feasible and executed to specUse AI-driven discovery tools to accelerate ideation, pattern recognition, and concept generationContribute to and evolve our design system, ensuring consistency and scalability across productsCommunicate design rationale clearly to stakeholders and build alignment through storytellingMentor and collaborate with other designers, raising the standard of design excellenceAdvocate for the user while balancing technical, regulatory, and business constraintsRequired Skills & Experience5+ years of product design experience across the full software lifecycleStrong portfolio showing high-impact B2B or enterprise SaaS workExpert in modern design and prototyping tools (Figma, Lovable, etc.)Experience using AI-powered or generative tools for research and ideationExcellent interaction and visual design craft — simplicity, hierarchy, clarityStrong communicator who can influence cross-functional teamsExperience contributing to or maintaining a design systemComfort working in a fast-paced, distributed teamPreferred Skills & ExperienceFamiliarity with healthcare data or interoperability (FHIR, HL7, APIs) is a plusExperience with data-dense UIs or developer-facing productsExperience in remote-first environmentsAbility to mentor team membersSuccess in this role meansYou’ve shipped a major feature or product from discovery to launchYou’ve improved design-to-development workflows and system consistencyYou’ve introduced new, efficient ways to use AI in design discovery or testingYou’re trusted as a partner across product, engineering, and leadershipYou’ve helped elevate the design culture through craft and collaborationSpecific Software / ToolsRequired: FigmaPreferred: Lovable, Claude CodeCompensationThe base salary range for this position is expected to be between $156,000 - $184,000 per year. The base salary range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. The actual offer may vary depending on multiple factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to the level of job-related knowledge, skills, qualifications, education/certification, and interview assessment.Please note that the compensation details listed above reflect the base salary only, and do not include incentive pay, equity, or benefits.
