Envinity’s Building Energy Solutions (BES) Division of engineers, technicians, and analysts who develop, design, and manage energy retrofit and optimization projects for healthcare, institutional, and commercial clients in addition to serving as the Commissioning Provider for new construction projects. BES is seeking a seniorn experienced commissioning provider to support our growth in the healthcare, lab, and higher education sectors. JOB SUMMARY: The Commissioning Provider II – Southeast Regional Lead is responsible for delivering high-quality commissioning services for new building projects by ensuring that mechanical, electrical, and control systems are designed, installed, and operating in alignment with project and owner requirements and industry standards. This role will focus on new construction commissioning (NCCx) while supporting Envinity’s full commissioning service line. This position performs advanced technical work, including design document review, development of commissioning plans, site inspections, functional performance testing, and detailed documentation and analysis of results. The CxP II demonstrates independence in project management and execution, mentors junior staff, and coordinates directly with contractors, design teams, and owners, and provides clear technical recommendations to resolve issues. The key business development responsibilities of this role include developing relationships and coordinating with owners and key partners, project management providers, architects, engineers, and prime contractors. The Southeast Regional Lead collaboratesworks closely with Envinity’s Account Managers to identify and secure new projects with existing partners, ensuring continued growth in the region. In addition, the role supports expansion into new markets by cultivating relationships with prospective clients and partners, with the support ofin coordination with Envinity’swith Envinity’s Business Development and Marketing team. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage new construction commissioning (NCCx) projects to ensure delivery meets scope, schedule, quality expectations and standards and client expectations. • Conduct technical and thoughtful design reviews to ensure for alignment with Owner’s clientOwner’s Pproject rRequirements; identify risks and opportunities for improvement and emphasize highlight, as applicable, Envinity’s expertise in high-performance building solutions sas applicable. • Develop commissioning plans for construction projects, outlining the scope, objectives, and timelines in collaboration with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders. • Oversee the implementation of commissioning plans, including checklist creation, verification, and functional performance testing of building systems and components, and ensure compliance with industry standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements and Envinity quality criteria.[ST3.1] • Coordinate commissioning activities with various stakeholders, including contractors, architects, engineers, and facility managers, to ensure seamless integration with construction schedules, and collaboratively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues that arise during the commissioning process.[ST4.1] • Allocate resources efficiently, including personnel, equipment, and budget, to ensure the successful execution of commissioning activities across multiple projects.[ST5.1] • Ensure that commissioning processes adhere to industry standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements, focusing on delivering high-quality results and meeting Envinity quality criteria.[ST6.1] Maintain strong client relationships by understanding client needs, addressing concerns, and sustaining effective communications throughout the commissioning process and beyond.[ST7.1] • Coordinate commissioning activities with various stakeholders, including contractors, architects, engineers, and facility managers, to ensure seamless integration with construction schedules. • Allocate resources efficiently, including personnel, equipment, and budget, to ensure the successful execution of commissioning activities across multiple projects. • Oversee the implementation of commissioning plans, including checklist creation, verification, and functional performance testing of building systems and components.[ST8.1] • Identify and address issues that arise during commissioning, working with project teams to troubleshoot and resolve problems.[ST9.1] • Ensure accurate documentation of commissioning processes, procedures, test results, and final reports for future reference and compliance, and timely delivery of commissioning reports, manuals, and other project deliverables to clients.[ST10.1] • • Identify training needs for team members and organize professional development programs to enhance their skills and knowledge.
