About the Role: Inspiratek is looking for a Video Editor with a passion for direct-response content and consumer behavior. This is a strategic, creative role—not just traditional editing. We want a “commercial artist” who can craft persuasive video content that boosts conversions and elevates our brand presence across Amazon. Your mission is to transform raw product footage, lifestyle content, and UGC into conversion-optimized video assets designed to engage Amazon shoppers in the first few seconds and drive measurable sales performance. Key Responsibilities: Direct-Response Visual Storytelling Create compelling video narratives using product footage, lifestyle clips, and user-generated content Structure videos to hook viewers within 3–5 seconds, demonstrate product value, and overcome objections Platform-Specific Optimization Develop and optimize videos for key Amazon placements: product carousel, A+ Content, Brand Storefronts, and Amazon Live Deliver assets that are mobile-first, fast-loading, and meet all Amazon content guidelines Creative Enhancement & Integration Design and apply animated text overlays, motion graphics, and lower thirds to highlight key features and calls-to-action Performance Analysis & Iteration Collaborate with e-commerce and marketing teams to review performance data (e.g., view-through, engagement, conversions) Use insights to improve future creative output and messaging Asset Management Maintain a well-organized digital library of video assets, b-roll, and project files Ensure consistent brand aesthetics across all content Qualifications: Experience & Portfolio 3–5 years of professional video editing experience Direct experience creating e-commerce videos for physical products (Amazon, DTC, etc.) A strong portfolio with several 15–90 second product-focused videos for online platforms Technical Skills (Must-Have) Mastery of Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects Knowledge of Amazon’s video specs, content rules, and export requirements Practical understanding of H.264 encoding, compression, bitrate control, and aspect ratios Familiarity with prompt engineering for AI video generation tools Must-Have Technical Skills: Expert-level command of Adobe Creative Cloud, specifically Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects. Demonstrable knowledge of Amazon's specific video requirements, including file size limits, length restrictions, accepted formats, and content guidelines. A deep, practical understanding of video codecs (H.264), compression, bit rates, and aspect ratios for web and mobile platforms. Understanding of prompt engineering for the creation of AI video content High-Value (Nice-to-Have) Skills: Advanced Motion Graphics: Ability to create custom, brand-aligned motion graphics in After Effects beyond basic templates. Audio Engineering: Foundational skills in sound design, audio mixing, and mastering using tools like Adobe Audition. Color Correction & Grading: Proficiency with professional color tools, like Premiere Pro's Lumetri Color panel, to ensure product color accuracy and a consistent brand look. Project Management Software: Experience with collaborative tools such as Slack, Asana, Monday.com, or Trello. Soft Skills Exceptional attention to detail—minor flaws can weaken customer trust High receptiveness to feedback and performance data Quick to adapt and able to meet tight deadlines Clear communicator in a fully remote envi
