We are seeking an experienced Software Validation Engineer to support a critical software validation initiative involving Windows-based applications and C#/.NET systems. The successful candidate will have hands-on experience reviewing Process Performance Specifications (PPS), interpreting internal specification documents, performing white box unit testing through Visual Studio, and developing validation documentation.This role requires strong technical documentation skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with software engineering, quality, and cross-functional teams to ensure systems meet defined requirements and validation expectations.ResponsibilitiesReview and interpret Process Performance Specifications (PPS) and internal specification documents to establish validation requirements and testing scope.Perform white box unit testing using Visual Studio, including verification of internal logic, code paths, and software structures.Execute software validation activities for Windows-based applications developed using C#/.NET technologies.Create, execute, and maintaluding test plans, test scripts, protocols, and validation summary reports.Collaborate with software development and quality teams to identify, document, investigate, and support resolution of defects.Ensure validation activities are completed cifications, and quality requirements.Track testing progress, communicate results, and escalate risks or issues to project stakeholders.Support validation activities throughout the software development and testing lifecycle.Maintain accurate and complete technical documentation related to validation activities.Required QualificationsDemonstrated experience reviewing and working with Process Performance Specifications (PPS) and internal specification documents.Hands-on experience performing white box unit testing using Microsoft Visual Studio.Experience validating Windows-based software applications developed using C#/.NET.Strong technical writing and documentation skills with the ability to create clear, detailed validation deliverables.Experience executing software testing and validation activities within structured development environments.Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with engineering, quality, and project stakeholders.Ability to work independently while managing validation tasks, documentation, and project timelines.Preferred QualificationsExperience working in a regulated or validated systems environment.Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes and software validation lifecycle practices.Experience working with quality systems, validation methodologies, or compliance-driven software environments.Work RequirementsMust be available to begin work as early as Wednesday.Must be able to work onsite in Massachusetts during the first week of the engagement.Must be available for additional onsite work during dedicated unit testing activities as required.Remote work is permitted for the remainder of the assignment when onsite presence is not required.Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring employer sponsorship for this engagement.BenefitsContract employees are not eligible for employer-provided benefits through this engagement.
