Location: Bogota, Colombia. Employment type: Full-time. Work model: On-site. Benefits: Base salary. Duties and Responsibilities: - Set up AV and IT equipment according to technical plans and project specifications for studio or facility installations. - Assemble and install professional video cameras, including related components such as lenses, monitors, and power systems. - Run and terminate low-voltage cabling (video, audio, and data) throughout studios and facilities, ensuring clean and secure wiring. - Install and organize equipment racks, network systems, video recorders, and other essential hardware components. - Manage various cable types (e.g., SDI, XLR, Ethernet), including cutting, crimping, and testing to ensure signal integrity and performance. - Install studio lighting systems and accessories in alignment with lighting design requirements. - Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, or cabling to maintain continuous operations. - Work flexible shifts, including nights, to support operational requirements and deadlines. Requirements: - Native or fluent in English (C1 level), with strong proficiency in both written and spoken communication. - Experience in assembling, disassembling, and troubleshooting computers, electronic systems, and AV hardware. - Familiarity with multimeters and other basic test equipment, and a working knowledge of AC/DC circuits. - Skilled in component-level installation, including soldering and working with printed circuit boards. - Proficient in installing and configuring Windows and Linux operating systems. - Capable of setting up and configuring peripheral devices, drivers, and computer hardware components. - Practical knowledge of audio/visual systems, with experience in diagnosing and resolving equipment issues. - Basic operational understanding of video cameras, microphones, and audio mixers. - Strong interest in learning and expanding technical skills within AV, IT, or broadcast environments.
