Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa at this time.ResponsibilitiesPartner with enterprise clients to understand their business objectives, application portfolios, and technology strategies.Design and architect cloud solutions leveraging Azure, AWS, GCP, hybrid cloud, and cloud-native technologies.Lead strategic discovery sessions and solution workshops with executive and technical stakeholders.Develop cloud modernization roadmaps that align technology investments with business outcomes.Guide clients through large-scale cloud migrations, application modernization, DevOps adoption, and infrastructure transformation initiatives.Ensure solutions are secure, scalable, resilient, and optimized for long-term success.Serve as a trusted advisor to senior IT leaders and decision-makers.Support pre-sales engagements, solution positioning, and RFP responses.Mentor architects and contribute to the continued growth of Connection's Cloud Center of Excellence.Stay ahead of emerging cloud technologies, market trends, and industry best practices.Qualifications10+ years of experience in cloud architecture, enterprise infrastructure, application modernization, or related technical consulting roles.Current cloud certifications in Azure, AWS, and/or Google Cloud.Proven success leading complex cloud transformation and migration projects.Extensive experience in customer-facing, consultative technology roles.Ability to engage and influence senior IT executives and business leaders.Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, networking, security, automation, and governance.Experience designing enterprise-scale cloud and hybrid-cloud architectures.Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skillsExperience in one or more of the following areas is highly valued:Cloud security and governanceDevOps and CI/CD automationKubernetes and container orchestrationInfrastructure as CodeServerless computingAPI ManagementCloud-native application developmentDisaster Recovery and Business Continuity solutionsData and AI platformsEnterprise networking and cloud connectivityExperience with technologies such as Azure DevOps, GitHub, Jenkins, Spinnaker, Chef, or Puppet is a plus.Because of the possibility for fraudulent job postings on many popular job boards, please be advised that Connection will never offer a position of employment without a complete interview process and communication with a “live person”.
