Are you detail-oriented and deadline-driven? Do you have a knack for recruitment and building relationships? Do you want to grow as a leader?
NVA (National Vision Administrators) is seeking a Provider Network Recruiter (Inside Sales) to join its Provider Relations team. This role involves identifying, recruiting, and managing eyecare professionals in targeted states across the country. It is an exciting time to join — NVA is actively expanding its network and this team is at the center of that growth. This role is full-time, exempt, and benefitted, with access to professional development and real opportunities for advancement.
ABOUT NATIONAL VISION ADMINISTRATORS & BENECARD SERVICES
Benecard Services is a family-owned employee benefits company and the parent organization of National Vision Administrators (NVA). Since 1979, NVA has provided customized, cost-effective vision benefit programs to employer groups, health and welfare funds, and associations across the country — covering millions of lives through a national network of nearly 100,000 eye care providers. NVA is known for its conflict-free model, long-term client relationships, and a commitment to helping members make smarter, more informed decisions about their eye care and eyewear.
WHAT THE WORK LOOKS LIKE
This is a high-volume, relationship-driven recruitment role with significant administrative and analytical components. A typical day involves a mix of outbound provider outreach, documentation and reporting, cross-departmental collaboration, and handling incoming recruitment requests from leadership, sales, account management, and health plan partners.
The recruitment team operates at the intersection of sales and network operations. You will be responsible for meeting daily activity minimums — 50 outreach touches per day (15 phone calls and 35 emails) — while managing multiple active recruitment priorities across states. Calls with providers can range from a quick check-in to 1–2 hour negotiations. Flexibility and the ability to switch gears quickly are essential.
Approximately 30–40% of the role involves documentation, reporting, application processing, and timely follow-up with internal stakeholders. Training is thorough and ongoing — the team estimates 4–6 months to fully ramp, though strong performers can begin hitting recruitment targets within the first 90 days.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
-Identify and recruit independent and large chain eyecare professionals to the NVA network across targeted states and core-based statistical areas.
-Develop and manage outreach lists for provider recruitment, including health plan recruitment in coordination with health plan leadership.
-Meet daily activity minimums: 50 outreach touches per day (15 calls, 35 emails), with flexibility on days involving scheduled provider calls or special projects.

-Ensure all provider applications are 100% complete prior to submission.
-Collaborate across departments — including Call Center, Sales, Account Management, and Health Plans — to ensure smooth onboarding of new providers.
-Handle provider retention, including termination requests, increase requests, and provider education when service issues arise.
-Manage and execute Docusign agreements for participation forms, W9s, frame inventories, and related documentation.
-Meet monthly individual recruitment goals (15 targets/month) as part of a team-based commission structure.
-Create, review, and deliver monthly reporting on recruitment status and pending projects.
-Promptly and professionally respond to all internal and external communications.
-Participate in onboarding training and ongoing learning to build deep knowledge of NVA products, network strategy, and industry position.
REQUIREMENTS
-2–3 years of inside sales or recruitment sales experience (note: this is a provider network recruitment role, not an HR recruiting role — transferable skills will be assessed).

WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU ALSO HAVE
-Managed care or healthcare network recruitment experience.
-Experience working with physicians or credentialed providers.
-Familiarity with GEO Access products or disruption reports.
