🚀 About the position:
⚡ Aerialoop is looking for a versatile web developer who will take a major role in developing the web frontend applications for the Aerialoop drone operation. Depending on the application, it has to be developed mobile first. This will involve developing functional code, tests and implementing user interfaces based on the UX designs and branding provided.
The ideal candidate is a passionate web developer who is eager to deliver both functional and user friendly applications. You are hands-on. You are eager to be "on the field" (literally, we operate drones!) with the team to understand the needs and gather requirements. Implementing scalable, enterprise-grade software and leveraging modern cloud infrastructure with micro services should be second nature to you.
🚀 Qualifications:
⚡ Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering or similar technical discipline.
⚡ Professional experience in web development of 2 or more years is a plus.
⚡ Experience with test-driven development and automated testing frameworks.
⚡ Experience with Scrum/Agile development methodologies.
⚡ Capable of delivering on multiple competing priorities with little supervision.
⚡ Great creative and innovative problem-solving skills.
⚡ Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment that includes working with changing needs and requirements.
🚀 Responsibilies:
⚡ Implement frontends for mobile and desktop applications based on the UX designs given.
⚡ Evaluate and decide on framework and plugin choices based on requirements and technical needs.
⚡ Develop and implement frontend integration testing strategies.
⚡ Work with DevOps to ensure continuous deployment and testing.
⚡ Work together with the technical team to discuss, extend and implement requirements from the business.
⚡ Maintain requirements and technical documentation.
⚡ Maintain the highest standards of excellence, never settle for the status quo.
