Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced Manager – Demand Forecasting & Inventory Planning with a strong background in the CPG/FMCG industry to lead demand planning, forecasting accuracy, and inventory optimization across the supply chain. This role is critical in aligning sales, marketing, and supply teams to ensure optimal product availability while minimizing excess inventory and obsolescence.Key Responsibilities:Lead end-to-end demand forecasting processes across multiple product categories and SKUsDevelop, maintain, and continuously improve statistical and judgment-based forecasting modelsDrive S&OP / IBP cycles by collaborating with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain teamsTranslate demand plans into actionable inventory and replenishment strategiesMonitor and improve forecast accuracy (MAPE, Bias) and inventory KPIs (DOH, Fill Rate, Service Level)Manage safety stock levels to balance service levels and working capitalAnalyze demand drivers including promotions, seasonality, new product launches, and market trendsLead scenario planning and risk mitigation for demand volatility and supply constraintsMentor and manage demand planning / inventory planning team membersWork closely with manufacturing, procurement, and logistics to ensure smooth executionPrepare executive-level reports and insights for senior leadership decision-makingRequirementsBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Economics, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred)8–10+ years of experience in Demand Forecasting, Inventory Planning, or Supply PlanningMandatory experience in CPG / FMCG industry with high SKU complexityStrong hands-on experience with S&OP / IBP processesProficiency in forecasting and planning tools (SAP APO / IBP, Oracle, Anaplan, Kinaxis, or similar)Advanced Excel skills; experience with Power BI / Tableau is a plusStrong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skillsBenefitsPaid Time OffHealth InsuranceOPDTraining and Development
