Position Summary:
- UpSkill Consultancy is seeking a dedicated Remote ESL Instructor to deliver engaging online English language instruction to adult learners across Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced proficiency levels.
- The instructor will help students strengthen their speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills through interactive, communication-focused virtual lessons.
Responsibilities:
- Teach Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced ESL courses to adult learners in an online environment.
- Develop lesson plans and instructional materials aligned with learning objectives.
- Deliver engaging, student-centered virtual lessons focused on real-world communication.
- Assess student progress and provide timely, constructive feedback.
- Adapt instruction to accommodate varying proficiency levels and learning styles.
- Maintain accurate attendance, assessment, and student progress records.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive online classroom environment.
- Collaborate with management to support student success and continuous program improvement.
Qualifications:
- Must hold a recognized TESOL, TEFL, CELTA, or equivalent ESL teaching certification.
- Minimum of one year of ESL teaching experience preferred.
- Strong command of spoken and written English.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to deliver engaging and interactive virtual instruction.
- Proficiency with Zoom, Google Meet, Google Workspace, and other online learning platforms.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a professional home office environment.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Previous experience teaching adult learners online is an asset.
Compensation and Employment Type:
- Employment Type: Part-Time (W-2).
- Compensation: $18.00–$20.00 per hour (based on qualifications and experience).
Schedule:
- Saturday and Sunday.
- 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM Eastern Time (ET).
Work Location:
- Remote (United States).
- Candidates must reside in the United States and be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
