Our success is built on modern infrastructure and smart organizational and technological solutions.We currently operate multiple legal entities across multiple jurisdictions across the EU, Latam, and the USA — and are looking for an experienced accounting leader to take full ownership of our international finance function.The RoleAs Head of International Accounting, you will supervise and control the entire accounting function of our group. Working with both our in-house team and coordinating a network of local accountants in each jurisdiction, you will own everything from day-to-day invoicing and banking to year-end closures, financial statements, regulatory filings, and external audits.Global Accounting & ReportingOversee accounting operations across all our international entities, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of financial recordsLead and coordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes across all jurisdictionsEnsure alignment of accounting policies with IFRS and local GAAP standardsPerform accounting reconciliations by company and monthly invoice reconciliation for the Group (matching invoices with bank statements)Coordinate with outsourced local accounting teams on closing activities and tax calculationsVerify accuracy of data in quarterly and annual financial statements across all Group entitiesCompliance, Tax & GovernanceEnsure full compliance with local statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements in each jurisdictionCoordinate external audits, tax filings, and regulatory reporting, working alongside local advisorsEstablish and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard assets and mitigate financial riskMulti-Entity & Cross-Border CoordinationAlign accounting practices and reporting standards across multiple legal entitiesManage intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and transfer pricing coordinationAct as the central coordination point between finance teams in different countriesFinancial Planning & Business SupportSupport budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processesProvide insights into profitability, cash flow, and cost structures across international operationsIdentify financial risks and recommend data-driven actions to support business decisionsProcess Optimization & SystemsDrive standardization and automation of accounting processes across entitiesImprove reporting efficiency and data quality through system enhancementsEnsure consistency in chart of accounts, reporting templates, and financial controlsLeadership & Team DevelopmentLead, mentor, and develop the accounting team across multiple locationsEnsure consistent performance standards, training, and knowledge sharingBuild a scalable finance function capable of supporting international growthRequirementsEssential RequirementsUniversity degree in accounting (or an equivalent professional accounting qualification)Professional certification: CPA, ACCA, or equivalent — mandatoryMinimum 5–7 years of experience in a Chief Accountant or Head of Accounting roleProven experience managing accounting across multiple international jurisdictions (EU and US preferred)Full-cycle, hands-on accounting experience: bank conciliations, bookkeeping, closing, financial statementsDemonstrated experience managing and leading an accounting teamDirect involvement in audit processesFluency in English (C1 or above) mandatory;  fluency in Russian (B2 or above) a strong advantageNice to HaveWorking knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP, including their reconciliationProficiency in QuickBooks (strong advantage), Holded, or XeroAdvanced Excel and Google Sheets skillsExperience with payment platforms such as AMEX, VivaWallet, or CheckoutThis role may not be the right fit if you have no prior team leadership experience, have only managed accounting within a single local jurisdiction, or have worked exclusively in a passive accounting capacity within low-volume or low-transaction environments.What Success Looks LikeSuccess in this role means building a highly reliable, scalable, and internationally aligned accounting function across all group entities.
