Requirements and responsibilities

We’re looking for a high-ownership senior engineer to own and extend an entire cloud platform end-to-end. This person will lead cloud architecture, infrastructure, CI/CD, Kubernetes, reliability, deployment standards, and engineering process in a fast-paced, startup-style environment.AI-native engineering is non-negotiable for this role. We need someone who uses AI coding tools like Claude Code, Cursor, or equivalent as a daily force multiplier, while rigorously validating outputs for security, reliability, and production readiness.Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience with:5+ years in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering.Acting as the sole or primary infrastructure owner.Advanced AWS experience, including IAM, networking, multi-region architecture, and managed data services.Kubernetes in production, ideally EKS.Terraform and scalable Infrastructure as Code practices.GitHub Actions, GitOps, Argo CD or Flux.CI/CD pipelines with test gating, image scanning, rollback, and progressive delivery.Containers, cloud-native services, and staging/production deployments.Observability with Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, monitoring, logging, and alerting.Platform security, secrets management, IAM, and infrastructure compliance.AI tools applied to Terraform, Kubernetes manifests, scripts, pipelines, debugging, code review, documentation, and runbooks.Strong written and spoken English.✨ Bonus points for experience with:Startup or small-team environments.Engineering process rollout: branch protection, code reviews, golden paths, and deployment standards.SLO-based alerting and strong observability practices.Cost optimization and build-vs-buy decision-making.AWS certifications or CKA.Karpenter, External Secrets Operator, AWS Secrets Manager, and GitHub Actions with OIDC.Spark on Kubernetes.Aurora PostgreSQL, Redshift, ElastiCache, or data engineering exposure.Go familiarity.If you enjoy owning complex platforms, shipping fast with AI-powered workflows, and building scalable, secure, production-ready infrastructure, we’d love to connect.Apply directly here or feel free to send me a DM.
