Job DescriptionOur client, a growing national healthcare organization, is seeking an experienced Corporate Paralegal to serve as the operational backbone of their Legal Department. This is a full-time, remote opportunity supporting two attorneys in a fast-paced, highly organized legal environment. This role is ideal for a proactive, highly organized corporate paralegal who thrives independently, manages competing priorities with ease, and brings strong experience in litigation support, corporate governance, and contract management.CompensationThis is a part-time, remote 1099 position with the potential to transition into a full-time role after a 30-day probationary period. Candidates must be fully available for the required hours and open to a contractor arrangement initially.This role has the potential to convert to a full-time hire after a 30-day probationary period. If transitioned to full-time, the anticipated annual salary range is $85,000–$90,000 per year.Key ResponsibilitiesCorporate & Entity ManagementSupport corporate entity governance, filings, and complianceManage franchise-related documentation, filings, and compliance trackingAssist with franchise agreements and related amendmentsLitigation & Claims OversightTrack litigation matters, claims, and deadlinesCoordinate discovery and document productionMaintain litigation calendars and communicate with outside counsel as neededContract Drafting & ManagementDraft and revise basic contracts, letters, and amendments under attorney supervisionManage contract intake, execution workflows, and storageMaintain organized legal files and document management systemsM&A Support (Preferred)Assist with due diligence processes and data room managementSupport transactions from LOI through closingCoordinate documentation and follow-up items post-closingLegal OperationsManage daily legal department workflows and intakeMaintain calendars, trackers, and reporting systemsCoordinate with internal business teams to ensure efficient legal supportLeverage legal technology and AI tools to improve efficiencyQualificationsMinimum 5+ years of corporate or in-house paralegal experienceStrong experience managing litigation matters and corporate entity complianceExperience supporting franchise systems preferredHealthcare industry experience strongly preferredM&A experience a plusExcellent drafting, organizational, and project management skillsDemonstrated ability to work independently in a remote environmentMust be a self-starter with strong attention to detailThis is a full-time role; candidates must not have another full-time position or competing professional commitmentOverviewThis is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned corporate paralegal seeking a stable, high-impact role within a growing national organization
