We're hiring our Account Executive (AE) - a scrappy, resourceful, and ambitious seller who can close deals like a founder. You'll be on the frontlines of our go-to-market motion, selling a product that’s already delivering results and loved by brands. This isn’t a paint-by-numbers sales role. You’ll build pipeline, run founder-style discovery calls, and close deals with minimal structure. You’ll help shape our sales motion, experiment with messaging, and be trusted to bring in the right customers. You will work directly with the founders and early customers. If you’ve ever wanted to be part of building the next breakout SaaS company, this is your shot. 🧠 What You’ll Do: - Own the full sales cycle — prospect, qualify, demo, close - Run founder-quality discovery calls: strategic, consultative, value-focused - Manage a pipeline of fast-moving SMB and mid-market deals - Collaborate closely with the co-founders and sales lead to refine ICP, messaging, and playbooks - Work cross-functionally with Customer Success and Product to ensure seamless handoffs and implementation - Be the voice of the customer, constantly sharing market feedback and competitive insights - Help build internal sales processes, CRM hygiene, and outbound cadences - Represent Ground at events, customer meetings, and happy hours — IRL and virtual 🎯 Who You Are ✅ You’d Crush This If You: - Would buy from yourself — you're likable, credible, persuasive - Thrive in ambiguity — you're scrappy and don’t need hand-holding - Have experience in high-velocity sales to SMB or mid-market clients - Understand the ecomm brand buyer and speak their language - Obsess over customer value, not just features - Are driven by results and have a track record of consistently beating quota - Embrace feedback like oxygen and adapt quickly - Ask smart, strategic questions that uncover pain and urgency - Have a founder's mindset — you think like an owner and move with urgency - Can speak to metrics like CAC payback, conversion rates, AOV, LTV ✅Bonus Points If You Have: - Sold to Shopify merchants or DTC brands - Worked at a startup before Series A - Experience with tools like Shopify, Klaviyo, Postscript, Attentive, etc - Created your own outbound cadences or messaging from scratch
