Requirements and responsibilities

Job descriptionThe person should be both technically very strong, but also a strong leader to shape the strategy, processes and operation model for the running of our platform.Lead a team of 4 people (5 including him)The person should normally be 50% hand on, 50% focused on leading - this might change depending on the period.This person should be both technically leading, and leading the people and processRole & Responsibilities:o Design, Contribute, Implement & Own operational processeso Assign tasks to engineers as requiredo Line Management of the team, including hiring, performance reviews, etc.o Work with the Engineering Team Lead to improve the platformo Be part of an on-call group (team lead, escalation level)o Work with customers as required to resolve their issueso Collaborate with Internal development teams as requiredExperience/Skills - Must Have:Extensive experience leading operational teamsExtensive understanding of AWS CloudExtensive with IaC (Terraform)Extensive experience with KubernetesExtensive experience with git version controlGood level of scripting experience (Ideally Python)Good understanding of databases, including Oracle and PostgreSQLNice to Have:KarpenterFluxCDIdeally experience with Liquibase
