About Chesapeake Pallets Chesapeake Pallets is a U.S. national pallet brokerage & logistics company. We move thousands of pallets every month across the country. Our operations team makes this possible by finding suppliers, negotiating deals, and securing trucks fast. The Role We are hiring a Purchasing & Operations Outreach Associate to handle the front lines of our operations: sourcing suppliers, negotiating hard on pallet pricing, pulling trucking quotes, and covering loads quickly. You’ll be on calls and email every day — pushing for better deals, making fast decisions, and keeping operations moving. Responsibilities • Source and call pallet suppliers daily to confirm stock and pricing. • Negotiate hard with suppliers to secure the best costs. • Call and email logistics companies to pull freight quotes. • Negotiate trucking rates and confirm capacity quickly. • Cover loads fast by locking in supplier + truck. • Keep supplier and carrier data updated in Airtable/CRM. • Send professional follow-up emails to suppliers and carriers. • Report daily on calls made, negotiations, quotes pulled, and loads covered. Requirements • Excellent spoken and written English. • Fearless negotiator — not afraid to push for better prices and terms. • Confident on the phone with suppliers and carriers. • Experience in purchasing, logistics, dispatch, or B2B sales is a big plus. • Organized and detail-oriented; able to juggle multiple quotes and deadlines. • Must be available to work U.S. EST hours (9AM–5PM). Compensation • $600–1000 USD/month, depending on experience. • Performance bonuses for consistently covering loads profitably and on time. • Long-term role with growth opportunity.
