Business and solution-oriented DevOps Cloud Engineer with strong focus on software security, debugging best practices, integration, and automation. Responsible for management, creation, and maintenance of Avatier cloud resources, with direct customer/partner interaction to resolve technical issues.
Main Responsibilities:
* Monitor, manage, and optimize AWS customer environments (EKS, EC2, RDS, VPC, SSL, etc.).
* Apply cost optimization strategies (multi-year options, shared resources).
* Automate spinning up/down cloud trials.
* Work across Unix, Windows, and Docker in EKS clusters using YAML, EC2, RDS, and VPC.
* Maintain visual diagrams of all Avatier infrastructures.
* Key management, spreadsheet maintenance, and key storage solutions.
* Review and optimize DevOps processes.
Technical Requirements:
* AWS EKS, kubectl, Kubernetes templates with Windows-based applications.
* Terraform at expert level.
* AWS Certified Professional DevOps Engineer.
* AWS RDS: creation, maintenance, scalability, MS SQL knowledge.
* AWS VPC: strong understanding of regions and availability zones.
* Powershell administration.
* Setup and maintenance of Grafana, Prometheus, and Thanos.
* GitHub and GitHub Actions for deployments.
* AWS security groups, SAML, MFA, IAM.
* EC2 (Windows Docker & Ubuntu).
* Windows/Linux/Unix administration.
* JSON & REST API endpoints.
* .NET understanding.
* YAML, SSL, AD, LDAP, DNS.
* Network troubleshooting (asymmetric routing).
* Familiarity with CloudFlare, New Relic, Aqua, CloudSploit, ParkMyCloud.
* Autoscaling, S3, ElasticSearch, LB, ElastiCache.
* Documentation (SOP, RCA).
Desirable Skills:
