Senior Full Stack Engineer
Location: Medellín, Colombia (strongly preferred)

About the Role
We’re hiring a Senior Full Stack Engineer to help build and scale a client-facing web application for institutional users.
This is a high-impact, early engineering hire. You’ll work closely with the founding team to build core systems from scratch, define architecture, and help establish engineering best practices.
We’re looking for someone who can own systems end-to-end, with a strong focus on backend architecture, infrastructure, and scalability, while still being comfortable across the full stack.
Preference for candidates based in Medellín, as in-person collaboration (especially early on) is highly valued.
What You’ll Do
Build and maintain a client-facing web application
Design and implement scalable backend systems and architecture
Develop and manage databases and data models
Build and integrate APIs and external services
Implement:
Authentication systems
Multi-tenant account structures
Role-based access control (RBAC)
Create analytics dashboards, reporting tools, and data pipelines
Optimize performance, reliability, and system efficiency
Help define:
Tech stack decisions
Codebase structure
Engineering workflows
Collaborate closely with founders to move quickly and ship features
Must-Have Qualifications
4+ years of experience as a full stack engineer (mid-level to senior)
Strong proficiency in:
JavaScript and/or TypeScript
Proven experience building and scaling production systems
Strong experience with:
Backend development
Database design and management
API development
Hands-on experience with at least one cloud platform:
AWS, GCP, or Azure
Ability to design and build systems from scratch
Strong understanding of system design and architecture
Nice-to-Have
Experience with:
Vercel
Supabase
Proficiency in:
Python (analytics, data, or ML use cases)
Familiarity with:
Rust
Experience building:
Analytics systems or dashboards
Data-driven products
Multi-tenant SaaS applications
Experience leading projects or coordinating engineers
Experience working in startups or fast-paced environments
Modern Development Approach
We value engineers who use modern tools to move quickly and efficiently.
Experience with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude, Cursor) is a strong plus.

Compensation
We target top-of-market compensation for LATAM to attract strong senior talent.
Final compensation will depend on experience and skill level.
