Position Overview We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and composed Project Manager to coordinate timelines, deliverables, and cross-functional alignment for a 15+ person engineering team developing the mechanical design of a next-generation battery system optimized for AI data center applications. This role is critical to the success of the organization. The Project Manager will serve as the operational backbone of the engineering team, ensuring every milestone, deliverable, and interdependency is tracked, communicated, and executed with precision. Success in this position will be measured by the Project Manager’s ability to: - Maintain calm, structured leadership in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. - Provide executive leadership with clear, real-time visibility into project status. - Rapidly realign engineering priorities as timelines, customer requirements, and business objectives evolve. - Drive accountability while maintaining a positive and solutions-focused atmosphere. Core Responsibilities - Develop, manage, and continuously update comprehensive project plans and GANTT Chart. Quickly respond to team members questions and requests for status updates via SLACK. - Build and maintain detailed Gantt charts reflecting timelines, dependencies, milestones, and critical paths. - Coordinate deliverables across a 15+ person engineering team. - Ensure alignment between engineering, leadership, and customer requirements. - Proactively identify schedule risks, bottlenecks, and resource constraints. Escalate to management when it appears additional resources or skill sets are needed to complete discrete tasks or strategic priorities. - Communicate project status clearly and concisely to executive leadership at all times. - Lead project meetings, document action items, and ensure accountability. - Rapidly adjust project timelines and priorities as conditions change. - Translate shifting customer requirements into clear engineering deliverables. - Maintain structured documentation and tracking systems. - Foster a calm, organized, and high-performance working environment. Required Qualifications - Undergraduate degree in a technical field, Business Administration, Engineering, Mathematics, Construction, Real Estate or Computer Science. - Minimum 5 years of Project Management experience. - High attention to detail. - Deep understanding of project management tracking and communication tools. - Advanced ability to build, manage, and interpret Gantt charts. - Strong organizational and analytical skills. - Patience and exceptional communication skills. - Fluency in English (written and verbal). - Ability to work effectively in an extremely fast-paced environment surrounded by high-performing entrepreneurs. - Ability to quickly realign teams to shifting priorities and deadlines. - Demonstrated ability to communicate efficiently and effectively with executive leadership. - Must have fast, reliable, and consistent internet connectivity. Preferred Experience - Experience supporting: - Energy companies. - Data center developers. - Real estate developers. - Manufacturing operations. - Experience managing the build-out of new manufacturing operations and workflow systems. - Background in hardware, battery technology, mechanical engineering, or AI infrastructure projects.
